When he can no longer ignore his bloodthirsty urges, young Dexter Morgan must learn to channel his inner darkness as he goes from schoolboy to vengeful serial killer under the guidance of his father Harry. Christian Slater is older than James Remar when Dexter (2006) first aired. Followed by Dexter Resurrection (2025).
This one isn’t quite as good
I’m a huge fan and enjoyed both Dexter and Dexter: New Blood. The first episode was mediocre for me, but the second and third episodes got really exciting and kept me hooked. I like most of the actors in this.
She comes across as one-dimensional and flat
I usually like Sarah Michelle Gellar, but I think this character is portrayed as so hard and brittle. The actor who plays young Bautista is awful. He tries so hard to imitate the original actor/character that it comes across as a parody and very artificial.
It didn’t bother me that young Dexter is quite emotional
Maybe he’s more emotional because he’s young and doesn’t have as much self-control as the more mature Dexter. I look forward to more episodes and am really excited for Dexter Resurrection.
